Michelle Sardison, Psychological Therapist

Experienced CBT Therapist for Adults & Young People

About me

I am a Psychological Therapist with over 25 years' experience working in mental health, including within the NHS, CAMHS, specialist psychological therapy services and private practice.

I work with adults and young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and PTSD, OCD, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, low self-esteem and emotional regulation difficulties. I also have extensive experience working with neurodiverse clients, including people with ADHD and Autism.

My main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I work collaboratively with clients to understand what may be contributing to or maintaining their difficulties and to develop practical strategies that can help them move forward. Therapy is tailored to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

My style is warm, approachable and non-judgemental. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves and able to talk openly about what is happening for them. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and when clients feel genuinely heard and understood, while also gaining practical tools that can support meaningful and lasting change.
